what's the word?

the word of the next four years... sheep.

that is the perfect description for the average american. sheep.

i figured this as best during a conversation with my mom last night. i said that these "evangelical christians" look to bush as their "shepherd." i then recalled that christians followed another "shepherd," and bush is nothing like that one. this conclusion was helped along by watching c-span on election night, listening to the republikans talking about bush. they are blind followers. they didn't mention a single issue except "morality." i want a president - not a national parent, not a national religious leader.

i don't ever recall christ teaching people to hate. it's amazing that people fall for that... but it is much easier to hate than it is to love.

this country is full of blind, mindless sheep. if you ever hear me saying "baaaaaa," you'll now know why.

all we have become are consumers. they want us to be docile. they're like the (bad) parent archetype - the parent who tries to buy their children's love. give them "holiday spice" flavored pepsi and watch them love us.

fucking bastards.

rebel!!!

Of course, these same people would've been brave, independent thinkers if they had just picked your guy. This is the third election that Bush and the Republicans spanked the Democrats. When are you going to admit that it's your candidates and philosophies that are out of wack, rather than the populace?

um, i'd hardly call 51% to 49% a "spanking" - and, if i recall, 4 years ago, your guy LOST THE POPULAR VOTE. so get your numbers in line before throwing that word around.

i also seem to recall some chicanery involved in 2000 which enabled the stealing of florida's electoral votes. i'd not be surprised to learn that this election was similarly skewed... especially after hearing about monkeys that were trained to hack into the electronic voting machines, and reading www.blackboxvoting.org and learning about all the other disputed elections that were conducted with the e-voting booths. never mind all the stories coming out on tuesday about people voting for kerry and having it changed to bush without their input.

i am sorry, but kerry doesn't trounce bush in all three debates to lose to him without a large quantity of religiously blinded sheep on his side.

it's quite sad.

You might have a point if we didn't also pick up 4 more seats in the Senate and a bunch more in the House. It was a spanking by Republicans of Democrats. The question now is whether you guys will learn from it or continue losing. Calling people who voted for Bush 'sheep' is the best way to continue being the minority party.
